Dollar Stores to Have Pharmacies Soon

.
In today's America, the dollar store seems to be the only place where Americans can afford to shop. More and more, we are becoming a dollar store nation. Dollar stores are slowly converting to grocery item sales and general apparel including shoes. One analyst said that it's one stop shopping for the average American.

The next step is coming very soon to your dollar store - a Pharmacy. Of course, depending on the specific drug prescription, there will be a maximum of twenty pills per bottle in order to keep the price at a dollar.  The main reason for the revolution in drug price is not the lowering of drug cost but the elimination of unneeded pharmacist training and certification.  One of the many additions to the Federal Heath Care Bill was the elimination of this wasteful and unnecessary training. During hearings and federal studies, it was found that the basic job of a pharmacist consisted of taking pills from a large bottle and putting them in a small bottle. The milligrams, dosage, and drug type are not prescribed by the pharmacist, but by the doctor. The final nail in the coffin came when a twenty year veteran pharmacist said during senate hearings on capitol hill that working the cash register was the hardest part of his job.

The new streamlined training will consist of one eight hour class mostly made up of students proving they can take pills out of large bottles and move them into small bottles.
